OSHA Laws & Regulations

General Duty Clause 29 USC 654, section 5(a)(1) requires that employers protect their employees from recognized hazards.

“Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees.”

Also, the Coronavirus is not an exception to recording an occupational illness in 29 CFR 1904.5(b)(2). If an employee contracts COVID-19 from another employee or through exposure at work it must be recorded on your OSHA log. Any job restrictions, time off or fatalities caused by exposure must also be recorded.

Don’t put your people and business at risk by asking your untrained employees to disinfect Coronavirus. This is a job for qualified professionals.

You are required to contact OSHA to report a fatality or hospitalization caused by the Coronavirus if it was contracted while the person was at work. In the unfortunate case of a death, an OSHA investigation will follow and could result in a substantial fine if you didn’t take measures to protect your employees.

Our Coronavirus sanitation services mitigate your exposure and limit your liability. The R&R Rapid Response Team has over 70 years of experience protecting our customers around the clock during emergencies.

Biohazard Remediation

The Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted our way of life more than any other modern day emergency. The virus can survive on some surfaces for up to a week. Many people do not show symptoms until two weeks after they become infected. This makes it very hard to track and contain. Our Coronavirus sanitation services are your frontline defense against this dangerous disease.

Disinfecting Coronavirus – We Protect You

Pathogens spread easily from one person to another via contaminated surfaces. To reduce the threat of illness we use CDC approved and EPA registered disinfectants to sanitize walls, floors, counters, desks, keyboards and all other surfaces that your employees, tenants or patrons come in contact with.

Using broad sanitizing tools, such as electrostatic sprays and micro-mist technology, we decontaminate areas that are impossible to reach with traditional cleaning methods. This innovative technology quickly and evenly coats surfaces with a disinfecting solution, making it possible to sanitize large areas.

R&R technicians use fully encapsulated personal protective equipment (PPE) and full-face respirator masks at all times while cleaning your premises.

When selecting a company to provide Coronavirus sanitation services, it’s imperative that you choose a company like R&R that’s OSHA compliant and follows all CDC guidance regarding Coronavirus.
